XX English Mild on Nitro

3.0% ABV

Malt Forward, Smooth

In an industry that's often all too focused on the bold and hoppy, we invite you to turn your attention to an almost forgotten malt-driven style that ruled England's pubs and beer houses for a century— the English Mild Ale.

The name designation “XX” indicates the relative strength of the beer, one X is lowest in alcohol and 4 X’s is strongest. This beer has a very modest alcohol content, designed for long, responsible, drinking sessions. The fact that it’s a nitro (not carbonated) helps to simulate cask beer, which is how it historically would’ve been served at the pub in England.
