Trivia Season is upon us!

We’re excited to bring back the same playoff-style format we’ve been using for Season 10.

Teams signing up are committing to a 12 week season with a chance to play in the 4-week tournament. If your team cannot commit to the entire season, we kindly ask you to leave the spots for those who can. We always leave the outside front tables and bar seats open for first come, first served.

The dates below are our target schedule for Season 10. Once registration is complete and we know the final number of participating teams, we will build the full season schedule and confirm all dates.

Some dates may shift depending on the number of teams and how the final schedule comes together, but our goal is to follow this schedule as closely as possible.

A FEW THINGS:

  • Once sign-ups are complete, we will build the season schedule and send it to all team captains.

  • The schedule and team off weeks will be randomly generated, and we will not take requests for specific off weeks.

  • Depending on the final number of teams, teams may have scheduled off weeks throughout the regular season.

  • Teams will rotate table sizes throughout the season, with 4-, 5-, and 6-person team limits distributed as evenly as possible. Please respect your assigned team size each week to keep things fair for everyone.

  • If your team is scheduled to play and cannot make it, please do your best to find substitutes. If you cannot field a team, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

  • When tables become available because of team off weeks or absences, they may be opened to teams on a bye or walk-in guests. Those scores will not count toward the season standings, but teams can still compete for nightly prizes.

  • We will not reserve a table the following week for nightly trivia winners.

AFTER REGULAR SEASON:

  • The team finishing at the top of the regular-season standings will be named the Regular Season Champion and receive a $200 San Juan Island Brewing Co. Gift Card.

  • The top teams in the regular-season standings will advance to the 4-week playoff tournament.

  • The exact number of teams advancing to the playoffs will be confirmed once registration is complete and the final season schedule is set.

  • All scores reset to ZERO for the playoffs.

  • Qualified teams will compete throughout the four playoff weeks.

  • Playoff team-size and table assignments will be announced with the final season details.

  • After four weeks, the team with the highest playoff score will be crowned the San Juan Brewing Trivia Season 10 Champion.

  • The winning team will have its team banner added to the Trivia Wall of Champions in the brewery.
